EUGENE D'AMICO Obituary
On Saturday, April 17, 2010, Eugene P. D'Amico, age 85, of McCandless, formerly of Ross Twp. and Washington County, beloved husband of Dolores D'Amico; loving father of Wendy (Joseph) Hendricks and Theresa (Jose) Villanueva; grandfather of Joseph Jr., Meghan and Amy Cate Hendricks. Eugene was retired as VP of Research and Development for Neville Chemical, he was a WW II Army veteran and a member of the ACS (American Chemical Society). Friends received Tuesday from 7-9pm and on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the LAWRENCE T. MILLER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 460 Lincoln Avenue, Bellevue. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Church of the Assumption, Bellevue on Thursday at 10:00 am. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

I am in the Assumption Golf League, which Gene was a member and have golfed with him a few times in the past, he was such a nice and very interesting man he will be missed. My condolences to all of his family, you are in my prayers,

I will always remember Babe and his family fondly at family reunions and weddings.
I know that he brought a lot of joy and that his memory will continue to bring joy to his cousin, and my mother, Dolores Orsatti Burke. For that I will be forever grateful to have known such a wonderful man.

We are so lucky to have had Mr. "D" for a neighbor for many years! He was such a sweet, kind man and we have wonderful memories of happy times together---especially Christmas Day Champagne, the 4th of July picnics and all the time we spent in your pool! We love you Mr. "D" and will never forget you! Mrs. "D", Wendy and Theresa, you are all in our prayers and have our deepest sympathies.

Dear Babe,
You are truely a kind, wonderful & generous person and you will never be forgotton. Thanks you so much for all the times we spent at Deep Creek. Babe, is one of a kind. His boat failed to operate one weekend so as not to disappoint all of us from Cleveland , Babe went out and purchased a new one that day. This is just one of the many stories his life is full of .
