MITCHELL MAUREEN L. (BUTLER)
September 27, 1948 to May 2, 2010. Devoted and wonderful wife of Dennis John Mitchell; loving mother of Dennis Patrick Mitchell and Kathleen Butler Mitchell; sister and best friend of Diane L. (Butler) Gibson-(Tom -Hoot); sister of James M. (Lynn) Butler, John P. (Susan) Butler, and the late Michael F., Patrick C. and Timothy R. Butler. Oldest child and loved daughter of the late James R. and Thelma J. (Perris) Butler. Loving aunt of Bart Gibson, Maureen L. (Beannie) Sabol, Tony & Michael Pouch, Jimmy Butler, Patrick Butler and John Butler, Great Aunt of Morgan Leigh and Mackenzie Sabol. Mummy to Mike Viga and Casper to Tyler Viga, Dear friend of Frannie Kolesar. Beloved niece to Donald Butler, Mary Catherine Torcasso, Virginia Griffin, Stella Pouch, George (Sonny), James and Robert Perris and the late John E. and William Perris. Maureen was very much loved and admired by many and her passing will leave much sadness but with God she will receive the love and peach she so deserves. She will be reunited with her parents whom she missed greatly and her brothers and loved ones in God's house and will wait for us to join her in her new home. We will miss her strength, love and guidance as the head of our family for so long but we celebrate her life and the joy and happiness she has given us for 61 years. Her love and her presence will be in our hearts forever and ever. Friends will be received Tuesday 2-8 pm in the EDWARD P. KANAI FUNERAL HOME, 500 Greenfield Ave. Funeral Wednesday 11:30 am, followed by funeral mass at 12 noon in St. Rosalia Church. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Maureen's memory to the Forbes Hospice, 115 South Neville St., Pgh., PA 15213.
