On Thursday, July 29, 2010, Alys I. Slais, age 89, formerly of Ross Twp. Beloved wife of the late Louis J. Slais. Mother of Sandra (Don) Falkner, of McCandless Twp., Marsha (Chuck) Contizano, of MI, and the late Louis D. Slais. Grandmother of Brandon Falkner, Kristen Trout, Margo Rippy, Corey Slais, Cammy Contizano, Derek Contizano, and Jeffrey Contizano. Also survived by 7 great grandchildren. Friends received Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at SIMONS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 7720 Perry Hwy. Services private. Contributions may be made to Family Hospice and Palliative Care, 50 Moffett St., Pgh., PA 15243 or to a charity of your choice.

Dear Sandy, Marsha and Families,
Our hearts were saddened when we learned of your mother's death. She was always such a fine person and a joy to all. Thank you for keeping us informed and please stay in touch. Our family seems to grow smaller each year. With love, Anita and Hank Kiesel
