NICHOLAS CONN Obituary
Age 21 of Turtle Creek on Monday, September 13, 2010 died peacefully surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved son of Barry Conn and Lori (husband Bob) Gevaudan; brother of Brendan; dear grandson of William (late Marjorie) Costello and Mary Kay (late James) Conn; also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; he will be missed by his girlfriend Kristen Billotte. Nick was a graduate of Serra Catholic H.S and was enrolled at Clarion University. He loved playing sports for St. Bernadette Sabres, St. Barts Bruins and Serra Catholic Eagles. He also loved spending time with his friends at Twelve Mile Island. Friends will be received Thursday and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC. corner of Shaw & Triboro Avenue Turtle Creek (412-823-1950). Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernadette Church Saturday, 10:00 AM. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Interment to follow at Penn Lincoln Memorial. In lieu of flowers family suggests Memorial contributions be made to AIM at Melanoma, 3217 Bob O Link Court, Plano, TX 75093.

It seems like only yesterday that Nick's contagious smile and carefree spirit was with us. I think of Nick often and pray that the family heals. Know that his friends from St Bernadette and Serra Catholic will never forget Nick!

Conn Family:
I Am so sorry for your loss. Words cannot express the appreciation I have to Nick for everything he gave me. He gave me a friend, a shoulder to cry on, and he was like a brother to me. We shared everything and helped each other through bad times and congratulated each other on good. I pray that his memory will live on forever. I pray that everyone who knew him can realize just what a wonderful person he was and how special we are to have known him

I can't even begin to imagine,I moved away from the Pgh area and just heard abouts Nick's battle. I am deeply sadden as Nick will be truley missed. Even though lifes directions brought the boys too busy to keep up(except for Facebook) I will never forget the special relationship we shared in the boys younger years. May God bless you and help you heal through this process. I will keep all of you in my prayes and thoughts daily.

We cannot express how sad and how sorry we are for your loss. Between, St Bart's Football, Serra Football & Socceer and St Bernadette activities, we really got to know Nick and truly enjoyed his fun and spirited personality.
