JAMES "BO" ROBERT, JR.
Age 55, of Morningside, departed from this world on Monday, June 2, 2014, surrounded by loved ones and friends. Beloved husband of Pamela Lynch Leffakis; loving father of Christie Leffakis and her husband Ryan Hanley, Jason Leffakis of Chicago, IL, Justin Leffakis, Lauren Leffakis, and Carly Leffakis; son of Elsie and the late Robert Leffakis; brother of Roberta Leffakis, Linda Leffakis, and George Leffakis; beloved "pap" of Collin, Blake, and Gianna; friend to many. "Bo" was a truly exceptional man and his kindness touched the lives of countless people. While his family and friends will miss him deeply, they find comfort in knowing that while "Bo's" life was cut short, the years that he lived were full of laughter and beautiful memories. Friends received at McCABE BROS. INC. FUNERAL HOME, 6214 Walnut St., Shadyside, on Wednesday and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where funeral will commence on Friday at 10:30 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Raphael Church at 11:30 a.m.

Daddy,
I can't begin to share all the beautiful memories you have given me. Every accomplishment in my life, you've been there in the background pushing me forward and even through my failures, you were always there to keep me going with your contagious laugh. I can't say i will ever be okay without you, but I know that with every step I take through life, you'll be there guiding me in the right direction, laughing with me through my greatest times, and standing by me through my worst. The time I spent with you has taught me to learn to live with no regrets, and when it comes to our relationship, I am glad to say that I can't think of a single one. You were the best kind of father that any child could ask for, and for that I can say that I am truly thankful and blessed to have spent my last 21 years with you. I love you so much and I'm so lucky to have a guardian angel like you looking after me and giving me hope for the future.

So sorry for your loss. We had the pleasure of getting to know Bo through morningside girls softball. He was a great coach and a kind man. My daughter loved playing ball for him, and my husband enjoyed helping him. He will be greatly missed!

I am so sorry for your loss, Leffakis family. Before my retirement, I met Bo many years ago in my Plumbing Showroom and was so impressed with his manners, respect for others and care of other people and their lives. I will never forget any of those attributes along with so many others he had. I am proud to have known him and I am sure he is surrounded with loving hands and will be missed by many.

I met Bo in the 80's through his uncle Pat as he was beginning a career in the field of plumbing, and although I haven't seen Bo since, I can recall his natural kindness and well being. You were always willing to lend a hand to help another, from waking up early on your only day off to go line the softball field to working until 10:00 at night in the middle of winter to fix a customer's heat.
