LAUREN NICOLE
On New Year's Eve, Wednesday, December 31, 2014, Lauren, age 34, formerly of Churchill, was "welcomed into Heaven's arms, where everyday is a celebration of a life that never ends". She was a graduate of Oakland Catholic High School and Duquesne University. Beloved daughter of Fred A. and Camille A. (Tardio) Comunale; dear sister of Fred A. (Jodi) Comunale, Jr.; granddaughter of the late Sarah Cortazzo, Anthony "Baron" and Margaret (Sabol) Comunale; also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and all who loved her. She will fondly be remembered for her beautiful smile. Family and friends received ALFIERI FUNERAL HOME, INC., 201 Marguerite Ave., Wilmerding, PA 15148, (412) 824-4332, on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. Prayer Service in the funeral home on Monday at 9 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Jude the Apostle Church at 10 a.m. Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery.

My heart goes out to you...Fred,Camille and Freddy. Lauren was my best friend for many years and I am so saddened that she is no longer with us. Lauren made me a better person and helped me see life in different ways. She had a gift of making people smile and laugh for hours. Lauren had a caring heart and a beautiful soul. We shared a love for music and inspiring quotes. We would drive around in the blue van and smoke our marlboro lights. The memories that I have of us are truly endless.
Lauren is in Heaven with God now. She's at peace and is with those who love her. She is looking down on us with her beautiful smile. She will forever live on in my heart.

Lauren and my sister, Pam, were best friends for 15 years. Growing up, she was a part of our family. I was so saddened to hear of Lauren's passing, but I know she will live on in our hearts. Lauren and I shared a love of the French language and she and I would speak our own version of French/English. Au Revoir mon amie. A bientot! XOXO

It was with great sadness that I read of Lauren's passing. She was always one of the shining stars of my classroom so many years ago, and I will never forget her infectious good humor and bright smile. She left the world too soon, and we are all diminished by the loss, but are consoled that she now rests comfortably in God's arms. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Lauren had an infectious laugh and a smile that could brighten a room. We shared lots of good memories growing up. I was lucky enough to sit next to her at every graduation since preschool. We always managed to find something to laugh about. She will be truly missed.
