I just learned of jack's passing. Jack and I served together at the 330th CRC in korea and I considered him one of my best friends over there. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Joan and the rest of the family ,I am so sad to hear of Jacks passing. He and Joan were one of my favorite customers to wait on at Dietz's restaurant. From Jack sneaking down to have a eggwich and getting caught by Joan because he got egg on his shirt to coming over at Christmas after the cookie walk at the church and the many many dinner and breakfast we serverd over the 23 years we had the restaurant. And me bringing Jack sugar free pies and the first year of moving into our house in Whitehall and taking the best Decorative house at Christmas and Jack coming in second ! . To watching your grand kids grow which I hear from Sandy they are grown. May your faith in God help and guide you through this time.

Anyone who knew Jack valued the relationship. He had an easy sense of humor and a genuine concern for the feelings of others. He avoided being a bother to anyone but was quick to help where he could. Honored to have been a friend of Jack's for decades, I never heard him speak in anger or use a curse word. One could sense God's quiet kindness to others in his unassuming humility. God alone understands how this all works but I like to think that he's home now and we've been enriched by knowing him. Dan Robinson
