1933 - 2017 Obituary Condolences
Age 83, of North Huntingdon, formerly of Lincoln Place, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, January 14, 2017, at his home. He was born July 4, 1933, in Lincoln Place, PA a son of the late Theodore S. and Laura Tytke Segiel. Prior to his retirement, Ted was the owner of Industrial Contracting Supply Company, a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church and a veteran of the US Army, having served during the Korean War Era. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports team fan, loved gardening and taking care of his pond and waterfalls and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Irene Segiel. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Margaret McMahon Segiel; sons, Theodore, Jr. and his wife, Sheri, Michael and his wife, Kim; daughters, Kimberly Busse, Teri Caryl; brother, Richard S. (Angie) Segiel; sister, Lauretta Taylor; grandchildren, Michael Busse, Bradley (Jennifer) Busse, Nicholas Segiel, Brendon Caryl, Alex Caryl, Kaitlyn (Andrew) Rodriguez, Kasey Segiel, Samantha (Troy) Segiel, Shannen Segiel, Kristin Segiel; and two great-grandchildren, Logan and Eli. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the JAMES W. SHIRLEY FUNERAL HOME, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, North Huntingdon. Interment in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park. www.shirleyfuneralhome.com
