Obituary Condolences

A lifelong resident of Turtle Creek, age 64, suddenly on Thursday, April 13, 2017. Treasured father of Michelle Silverio of Etna; cherished grandfather of Skylar, Tommy, Dominic and Cameron Silverio; dear brother of Frank Silverio of Turtle Creek, Nancy McDonough of FL and the late Dennis Silverio; loving companion of Rose Marie Konick of Cranberry Twp. Bob is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and godchildren. Bob was a 1971 graduate of Turtle Creek High School and attended West Virginia University. He became an independent professional painter of both commercial and residential properties. Bob loved classic cars and car cruises and was the proud owner of a 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. Also, he found time to volunteer for many years at the Heritage Nursing Home in Squirrel Hill. Bob loved music of all types, especially jazz, blues, classic rock and old recordings of his brother's music. He also was an ardent fan of all Pittsburgh sports teams, likely entering heaven with Dan Rooney. Above all of his passions, he most cherished being with his family, his friends and especially his grandchildren. Friends welcome on Monday from 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at PATRICK T. LANIGAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, TURTLE CREEK / MONROEVILLE CHAPEL, 1111 Monroeville Ave. at James St., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Colman Church, Turtle Creek, on Wednesday at 10 a.m.
