MARK WALSH Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 16, 2018.
WALSH MARK, Sr.
Lost his short but courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at home surrounded by his family. Loving husband of 43 years to Kathleen (Gamble); beloved son to the late John and Joan Walsh; devoted father to Mark Jr, Scott (Heather), Wayne (Katie), and Danny. Lived for being Pap to Serenity, Lily, Drake, Connor, Ivy, Sienna and Gavin; brother to Sean (Carol) and Tim (Peggy); caring uncle and thoughtful friend to countless people, especially Emily Wasel for all her help and support. Because of his love of coaching Sto-Rox little league, in lieu of flowers, please send donations to Sto-Rox baseball, P.O. Box 83, McKees Rocks, PA 15136. Family and friends will be received 2-8 p.m. TUESDAY at the McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1225 Chartiers Avenue, McKees Rocks, where a blessing service will be held 11:00 a.m. WEDNESDAY.

I posted something on McDermotts website for Mark but just in case, I wanted to let you know how sorry we are to hear of him passing. We are so sad for you and your children, Mark was such a good hearted soul. I know you two had so much love for each other. He will be greatly missed. We will keep you and your family in our prayers. St Peter met Mark and sent him down to third base, rejoice, may the light of Jesus Christ reflect to all of Marks family along with my sympathy. I remember Marks happy smile from his first days at De Sales. May you Rest In Peace Mark. He has raised you upon eagles wings.
