Age 92, of McKeesport, peacefully on December 13, 2019, in Riverside Personal Care Center. Born January 6, 1927, to the late Eugene and Marie Mikell Grimball. Beloved husband for 52 years of Melva Smith Grimball; loving father of Eugene George Grimball III, John Tynes, Sheila Martin, Monique Grimball; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. Eugene was a retired police officer for the City of McKeesport. A member and former trustee of St. Paul A.M.E. Church, F.O.P., NAACP, American Legion, Chairman of the South Carolina Connection, and a passionate member of The Spirit of Youth. Family will receive friends Thursday, December 19, 2019, in St. Paul AME Church, McKeesport, PA 15132, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with services beginning at 11 a.m. Professional services entrusted to ROBERT A. WATERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2326 Jenny Lind Street, McKeesport, PA 15132.

R.I.P. Officer Grimball. I remember growing up as a kid in Mckeesport and seeing you walking the beat. I always thought of you as a positive authority figure who treated everyone with respect. I was very saddened and thrown back to see Eugene Grimballs name in the obituaries today.
My deepest sympathies, thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, their children/grandchildren and all other family and close friends! I'm so sorry for your loss; Mr. Grimball was a good man a heck of a gentleman!
