Funeral Services for Paul H. Biggard, age 89 of Daytona Beach, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday December 30, 2004 in the chapel of BAGGETT & SUMMERS FUNERAL HOME with Rev. James E. Smith officiating. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home that day from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Biggard was born in Finleyville, PA on January 20, 1915 to Howard & Ida Biggard. He retired from the Railroad in Pennsylvania where he worked many years as a mechanic. Mr. Biggard moved to the Halifax area in 1970 from Pittsburgh, PA. He loved to read and was a great fan of the Penn State Nittany Lions football team. Paul H. Biggard passed away on Christmas Day, 2004 at Indigo Manor in Daytona Beach. Left to cherish his memories are a brother, Edgar Biggard of Boasborg, PA; sisters Jean Swick, Trafford, PA and Frances Sillaman of E. Petersburg, PA; 14 nieces and nephews; his caregiver of 18 years, Glenda Wolfe of Daytona Beach and his faithful friend and attorney, Melvin Stack of Daytona Beach. Memorial donations may be made in Paul's memory to the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be sent via the family guestbook at www.lohmanfuneralhomes.com. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Baggett & Summers Funeral Home.
