I miss Joe. He was my first and only painting teacher (Boyd Community Center). He never failed to amuse me whenever he would expound upon some highly opinionated topic! Joe encouraged me to loosen up in my painting, and demonstrated how to be a "value" painter. I will remember Joe with a smile on my face and a warm feeling in my heart!

I wish to express my sympathies to family and friends of Joe Eiser on
his passing. I had been a student of Joe's for many watercolor classes offered by CCAC. I had found Joe's type of instruction to be quite effective, I learn much and my interest in watercolor painting grew. Besides being a good instructor, Joe was a very good painter and I am pleased to have several of his paintings in my home. Joe was inspirational because he always seemed to enjoy the act of painting and if his current painting did not turn out to be a keeper in his eyes (which were keen) he had other ways to put them to good use. One was to crop them and send them out to his students as Christmas cards. I always appreciated these holiday gifts. Aside from being instructional, Joe's classes were entertaining, because he was entertaining and retained a good sense of humor. Joe will be missed by his students, as well as friends, family and loved ones.

I want to express my sympathies to family and friends of Joe Eiser on his passing. As a student off and on for several years in one of his classes, I learned quite a bit and appreciated his instruction as well as his individualism. We had fun in his class as well as developed a long term interest in painting. He was a fine artist as well as an inspiring teacher and a very likeable human being, and I am saddened to learn of his death. I know those very close to him will miss him very much.
