Age 19, accidently on Wednesday, March 7, 2007, of Carrick. Loving son of Nancy (Nicklaus) Farah and John E. Farah. Beloved brother of John F. and Jessica L. Farah. Precious grandson of Eleanor Nicklaus, Ferrill & Delores Farah. Proud future uncle to baby Bachner. Also survived by numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Friends received Sunday 1-9PM at the READSHAW FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1503 Brownsville Road, Carrick. Funeral Prayer Monday at 9:15AM with Mass of Christian Burial 10:00AM St. Basil Church. Interment in South Side Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Andy Farah Memorial Fund, c/o Sky Bank, 1817 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15210.

Andy recently it seems that so many young lives have been taken..n now that we r growing older i pray everynight to u to still watch over our close friends n ur family, of course. There is still not one single day that goes by that u dont run thru my mind. I love u. I cant say that i am truely blessed with the life that i am currently living now after overcoming some harder times, however like i said please i pray to u to keep our closer friends safe n help them to find the path of God...i know for most of them u r the only reason they still look up..miss u ..n even tho u r gone from this earth u truely r n will never b forgot andrew norbert farah <3

Andy,
Your name ended up in the search bar on my phone and this lovely thing came up. You were truly a great individual who brought smiles to many people. We didn't always get along but when we did we'd always have fun. You were such a clown who always made me laugh. Yes, we did have our differences but that's the way of life. All the positives outweigh the negatives anyway. I met you in elementary school and you were such a big part of my childhood because you were so close with the Bittners, CJ and Cisar and whoever else we chilled with. One of my only remaining memories of my childhood is when me you and I believe Cisar were playing with smoke bombs and other fireworks and we pretty much lit the garage in the alleyway by your house on fire. I remember everyone else taking off but your dad got a hold of us. You and Ryan were in shock and you both were yelling at me for not taking it seriously. You knew we caused some damage and there I was just laughing away.
I remember graduating high school and running into all the people we grew up with. I had the hardest time finding you to give you the "bro hug". I pretty much gave up then you came out of nowhere, ran up to me and gave me that "hug". We wished each other the best. Not knowing that was pretty much the last time ever seeing you.
Your untimely death brought a community together. You were loved by everyone, old or young. Keep shining down man. Miss you!

I just read all of the beautiful messages that were written to you and our family since you have passed. This is my first time reading this with a clear mind (after 4 years) and it makes me so happy to know how loved you were and still are. I still think about you every day (every SINGLE day, I promise)and I know you are with us always. Thank you so much Mrs. Westcot (if you still read this) for keeping this available on-line forever. You were my first best friend, my first boyfriend, my first love, and my big brother.
