Jeanna Lee Lemmon Kildow, 68, died unexpectedly Aug. 5, 2015 in Murray, Utah.
She was born April 24, 1947, at Ontario, Ore., daughter of Perry and Mabel Lemmon. She was the younger of two daughters, who were seven years apart in age.
Her family moved from Payette to Idaho Falls, Idaho, in 1953 where she was raised and lived most of her life. She attended Idaho Falls High School, class of 1964. She married George Sparr, her high school sweetheart. They raised two daughters in Ammon, Idaho; Tammy and Brenda. They divorced after 18+ years. She later married Joe A. Kildow, Castle Rock, Colo., her best friend and love of her life, March 27, 1996. Widowed, July 18, 2009, she missed him greatly and looked forward to being reunited.
Jeanna experienced many difficulties in this life, especially with her health. She developed strength through her struggles and came through them a stronger person. She cherished friendships, wanted to be accepted and showed unconditional Christ-like love to others.
We were so proud of her greatest accomplishment achieved in 2014 - she quit smoking after 52 years. She left this life with dignity and happiness.
She loved angels, dragonflies, shopping, Oprah, reading, manicures, pedicures, weekly hair appointments by her grand-daughter - Chantell, watching HGTV and Hallmark movies.
She was a successful Tupperware and Avon sales manager, where she earned cars and great rewards for her hard work. She loved the outdoors. When in better health, she enjoyed doing many recreational activities; camp, hike, snowmobile, ride bikes, flowers and many more. In addition, she enjoyed working in retail clothing and as a hospital unit clerk.
She was raised a member of the Trinity Methodist Church, until she married George. She then joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed callings in the primary presidency, teaching primary and being a visiting teacher.
Survivors include: two daughters, Tammy Evans (Aaron), West Jordan, Utah, and Brenda Peterson, (Dale Peterson), Idaho Falls, Idaho; grandchildren Brandon (Wendy) Evans, West Jordan, Utah, and Chantell Evans, West Jordan, Utah, and Britney (Jason) Croney, Shelley, Idaho, Derek Peterson and Brooklyn Peterson, Idaho Falls, Idaho. She has six great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Kenneth Slusser, Idaho Falls, Idaho; two nieces, Kathryn Slusser, Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Saundra (Larry) Dunsmoor, Klamath Falls, Ore.; and one great-nephew. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Carolyn Slusser, who passed only nine months prior.
