Robert Kincaid Obituary

Rob, simply said in few words, was one of a kind.

Rob was truly genuine at heart and so filled with selflessness. He had the desire to live life to the fullest, and to take care of everyone and every creature around him. His wife Kim was his world, the voice of reason in his journeys, and the love of his life. She let him be who he needed to be and was his companion in every venture he pursued, in person or in his heart. His children were his pride and joy, and they will continue his legacy with heads held high. He was such a nurturing man, from his cows to his family, and a shining example of how to accomplish anything, have fun doing it, and do it again just a little better the next time. Whether it was planting a seed in the spring in their garden, or riding his beloved mountains on his bike, horse, or machine, fishing with his family on the beautiful lakes wherever a fish would bite, or walking miles of wildness in search of the perfect animal, none of creation was left out.

The love God poured in his heart to share with his community, his family and his friends will be treasured and deeply missed.

"If I die tomorrow, I have done more in my life than most men dream of"- Rob Kincaid 04-02-2020

Ride the shining snow white hills of heaven Rob, God speed...and God be with us all until we meet again...

Rob leaves behind for now his beautiful wife Kimberly Kincaid, his precious children Shelby 22, and

His treasured sister Abby 38, her husband Jeremy and their children Savannah, Housten, Madalynn and Tucker Green. The admirable parents of Rob who raised him to be the wonderful man he was to everyone, Robert and Yvonne Kincaid of Victor, Idaho. His supportive Grandfather John Deckard, of White Pigeon, Michigan. The loving parents of his wife, Cal and Lana Dayton of Driggs, Idaho. Countless friends and family who were so blessed to have known him, which he truly loved dearly. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all who helped him be who he was. What a gift to us all Rob was. Your support in this time has been overwhelming.

List of accomplishments:

He was what so many of us want to be, so I'm thankful for his life and fresh inspiration. God, please bless his wife and family, and those who knew him so well. He touched so many people, cherish the memories. I'm marking down how I knew him as 'friend', the friend that I never got to meet. But someone I will never forget. I watched the whole obituary, wow. Wow. A doer.

Rob was an amazing friend. He had a way with his words . Myself and a group of friends went out to the mountains a few years back and the one thing that really stuck with me out there was something Rob had said. Take it easy and have fun with it. Thank you my friend for the great years and take it easy up there and god speed.

Our family has been blessed to be neighbors with Rob and his family for the past five years. He was always good to have a chat on the side of the road and share a hunting tip or funny story. He showed our children all the horses, chickens, and turkeys on their property. He never passed without a wave and a smile and our street will not be the same without Rob. All our prayers and condolences to Kim, Shelby and Riley.

Rob grew up down the road from me so I ran into him quite a bit up on the mountain above his house.. he was usually hunting or scouting and I was walking the dogs. We always had a friendly conversation about the wildlife in the area. A Teton Valley legend gone too soon. Sincere condolences to his family and his snowmobile family during this difficult time.

I remember the 1st time I went pheasant hunting with Rob and his dad Bob.. he was10 years old... he was already a better shot than both of us much to our mutual admiration. I remember thinking this guy's really gonna be something as an outdoorsman... I'd have to say in retrospect that was an understatement. God speed to you Rob and those that follow...

Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. We always admired Rob's love for the outdoors and his jovial never ending smile.

Kerry Green

April 6, 2020

Rob was always fun to talk to. He was always willing to share how far he shot to kill a deer. I think Rob learned to trap martin from his association with Wayne Green, my father. Wayne, like Rob, liked the high mountains. He was always willing to stop and talk to Dad when they met in town. They had a lot in common. Rob loved his saddle horse, his gun and his wife. Anybody who loves those things is a champion to all of the younger boys who look up to him. Rob loved to joke and talk to his young friends. He will be missed!

April 6, 2020

My favorite memory of Rob is being invited to join him and Kim and family for some of his delicious Dutch Oven cooking one evening. There weren't just a few of us (we have a large family), but he and Kim were wonderful hosts. We enjoyed our time with them very much. I have also loved hearing about his snowmobiling adventures through Abby, who was always so proud of her big brother's accomplishments. Rob was a one of a kind guy who was comfortable with who he was and who made you smile just being around him. His passing will leave a large void in our family and in his community.
