Eugene passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center at the age of 86. He was a native of Bayou Pigeon and resident of Plaquemine. He was a retired pipe tter with Local 198 and owner of Bayou Pigeon Seafood.
Visitation will be at Wilbert Funeral Home Plaquemine on Sunday, October 28th from 5pm until 9pm and again on Monday, October 29th from 9am until 12:40pm. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 1pm, celebrated by Rev. Joseph Camilleri. Burial in Grace Memorial Park.
Survived by two daughters and sons in law, Gisele and Russell Babin, Glenda and Chris
Randazzo; a son and daughter in law, Larry and Cindy Vaughn; son in law, Randy Hebert; seven grandchildren, Benji Vaughn, Colbey Randazzo, Blake Babin and wife Brittney, Chance Hebert and wife Brittney, Case Randazzo, Caci Randazzo Landry and husband Landon, Lacey Callegan Shaw and husband Paul; eight great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; sister in law, Lucy Berthelot Vaughn; special companion, Mary Guillory Roucher; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his wife, Violet Settoon Vaughn; parents, Dewey and Emelia Berthelot Vaughn; daughter, Jaynell Hebert; grandchildren,
Chase Vaughn, Jessica Hebert and Ryan Hebert; brothers, Roy, Russell, Ory and Ira Vaughn.
Pallbearers will be Benji Vaughn, Colbey Randazzo, Blake Babin, Chance Hebert, Case Randazzo, Landon Landry and Derek Landry. Honorary pallbearer will be Cecil Vaughn.
