When you hear the words living life to fullest, in the hearts and minds of those who loved him, this was all Ronnie Ray Monks knew how to do.
Truly fitting for a man with so much grit. Starting a business at the young age of 10 where Ron would collect glass of all kinds and turn the crushed glass into decor and usable artistry, Ron has been an entrepreneur from day one. As Ronnie grew in age, so did his aspiration where he started and grew multiple businesses from the ground up to provide a comfortable life for his family and himself.
Tee'd Off Golf was Ronnie's final venture where he retired and stepped away from the working world to enjoy his time as he saw fit. With four siblings, Al Monks, Debbie Janway, Jeff Jacobs and Curtis Howe, Ronnie knew and always lived up to the meaning of big brother.
Later in his days, Ronnie was married to the love of his life, Debbie Collins from Kansas. The two became one on June 7, 2010, in Arkansas.
Ronnie was the proud father of his daughter, best friend and fishing partner Misty Shelite and his three sons John Monks, Jeremy Settle and Justin Collins. With more grandkids than one could count, there was enough love from the big personality of Ronnie to go around. If you couldn't find Ron with family, it was safe to bet he was on the water chasing whatever was hungry that day to bend the rod.
The man that was truly bigger than life, Ronnie Ray Monks, will be missed dearly as his legacy of hard work, family and living life to fullest will resonate with all that had the privilege of being a part of his life.
There will be a private memorial graveside at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home, Van Buren, Ark. To view the online guestbook, go to www.edwardsfuneralhome.com.
