I just received notification from Down the Shore Publishing about Charlie's passing. I was so shocked and saddened to hear this. My sincere condolences on the passing of Charlie Fox. I have known his son Eric since pre-k and our families grew up sharing an appreciation of LBI and all the water had to offer. That feeling is even stronger today. All the best to his family.

My husband, Steve and I met Charlie on LBI when we were buying our little shore house right across the street from his house. He was a wonderful person, good friend and a great neighbor. We always enjoyed seeing him when we went to our house for weekends in the summers. He was always happy and very energetic. Our last time with him was a boat ride across the bay and nice lunch at a restaurant by the bay. Great memories. Sending our kind thoughts to his family. He will be missed by many, many people.
