HEIDI JEAN OLSON LEE, 52 Heidi Jean Olson Lee passed away at 52 yrs. old on Monday, September 30th after a long and courageous fight with breast cancer. Heidi grew up in the San Francisco Bay area with older brothers, Bjorn and Rolf. Heidi attended University of Colorado in Boulder, CO where she met her husband, John Lee. John and Heidi, married 27 yrs., had four children: Kelsey-24, JT-23, Kira-17, and Travis-15. Those who knew Heidi best describe her as: Wife. Mother. Best friend. Teacher. Preacher. Cheerleader. Champion. Beer chugging coach. Counselor. Role model. Business partner. Entrepreneur. #1 Fan. "The real deal." Peace-maker. Home-maker. Dreamer. Second mother to all. Orchestrator. Social coordinator. Rainbow girl. California girl. Vivacious. Fearless. Gregarious. Disciple. Daughter of God. Sentimental. Artsy. Kitchen magician. Visionary. Anchor. Sincere. Unrelenting spirit. Supporter. Beautiful. Lover of life. Warm. Outdoorsy. Courageous. Giver. Loyal friend. Well-traveled. Wise. Listener. Networking pro. Radiant. Inquisitive. Never overlooked a stranger. Endearing. Loser of keys & cell phone. To know Heidi is to love Heidi. Her famous "Heidi Smile," always. Smiling at the world through rose tinted ski goggles. Merciful. Genuine. Inspirational. Warrior of prayer. Life changing. Follower of Jesus- and now she is with Him. "Mo Cushla" - My Breath of Life. A memorial service will be held at Morning Star Fellowship in Bechtelsville, PA on Saturday, October 5, 2013. Visitation 2-4 p.m.; Service 4-5 p.m. Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Heidi's name to Heidi's Kids Memorial Fund c/o Wells Fargo Bank, 709 E. Philadelphia Ave., Boyertown, PA or She is Safe (formerly Sisters in Service) at www.sheissafe.org.

I was a very close friend of Heidi's in high school and a several years in college. She was truly amazing in a million ways. She was a fantastic athlete, Skiing, tennis racket ball, Cheer etc., and had the most uplifting spirit I have ever seen, to this day. She is an absolute legend in regards to how she had the ability to generate joy in any room she entered. The warm heart and feelings she had for her Springer Spaniels was beyond compare. She was missed by so many, when she moved to Pennsylvania. And hearing of her diagnosis, was so very sad because, I knew she had to be the best wife and mother to her children anyone could hope for. God Bless you and Rest In Peace Heidi, you were an amazing example of what humanity has had to offer the world.

During the week I was at the beach this summer with Heidi and her family I fell in love with Heidi. She was certainly a very special lady. I love her family and wish all of them much love and peace at this time.
