Rhinebeck - Adelaide G. Cudone, 84, of Rhinebeck, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Northern Dutchess Hospital.
Mrs. Cudone was a communicant of St. Christopher's Church in Red Hook and former President of St. Christopher's Church Ladies Guild and member of their Altar Rosary Society.
Born on March 4, 1928, in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Florence (Palmer) Schubert. She was a graduate of Mt. Saint Ursula Academy in the Bronx, NY.
Adelaide married John Cudone on April 29, 1950 in St. Philip Neri Church in the Bronx, and he survives at home in Rhinebeck.
A devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she is survived, in addition to her husband, by two sons; Gerard Cudone and his wife Sylvia of Rhinebeck, and Joseph Cudone of Rhinebeck, a daughter; Angela Marie Cudone-Sheridan and her husband John Sheridan of Bainbridge Island, WA, and four grandchildren; Nicolas, and Danielle Cudone, and Sara and Jacky Sheridan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 6th, 2012 at St. Christopher's Church, Red Hook. Burial will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Red Hook.
Friends may call at the Burnett & White Funeral Homes on Friday, October 5th, 2012 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM.
Memorial donations may be made in Adelaide's memory to the St. Christopher's Church, 7411 S. Broadway, Red Hook, NY 12571.
