I will always remember Olga as an exceptional woman. I have forever been in absolute awe of her tremendous strength, after surviving the holocaust and having experienced such horror, sadness, and loss.
I loved seeing Olga and Leon when I'd go over to hang out with their daughter Barbara, who has been one of my dearest friends since 7th grade.
She was a strong female role model, running Orbit Books. She was also a very caring, kind person, and was often super excited to tell us a joke she'd just heard and couldn't keep from laughing before the punchline!
I haven't seen her since probably 1994, but have thought of her frequently. I will miss her dearly.
My love pours out to her children and their families.
