Brendan Paredes Obituary
Wappingers Falls - Brendan John Paredes, 37, was a beloved son and brother who struggled with mental illness and addiction until he could no longer struggle. During that time, he filled us with memories of his unmatched sense of humor, his love of animals and his encyclopedia knowledge of music. Whoever knew him remembers laughing with him.
He will be missed daily by his family, friends and is his loving girlfriend, Tasha Mathew. As his essence fades and changes to its new form, we know he is happy.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. There will be a service at 8pm.
Due to Brendan's love of all animals, but especially dogs and cats, memorial donations may be made to CARE, 949 Route 376, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.

Brendan and I were inseparable for a few years in our early 20's. I truly loved him and his entire family. Brendan had a massive intellect and a kind heart. He had a way of making me laugh through my tears. He had a big smile and the bluest eyes. He knew how to comfort and relate to others. May he rest in peace.

I remember Brandon as a young boy playing CYO basketball. The number of “kids” from that generation who I know that have lost their lives, or suffer from addiction(my own included) hurts my heart. I know the pain of a mother watching their child go through this, and I need to believe that Brandon is now in a better, and happier place....

Brendan will be in a peaceful place in heaven with Gregg,JP,Bob and other family members. I remember a sweeter time when Gregg and I took Care of Pat,Bren and Dan and laughed at all of the sweet things that Brendan would do to make us laugh. I will miss you Brendan.
