EASTON, MD - Christine DiNorcia Kleinke, 76, of Easton, died on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Genesis Healthcare at The Pines in Easton.

Chris was born on August 12, 1936 in Poughkeepsie, NY. She was the daughter of the late Rosario DiNorcia and Loretta Magnarella DiNorcia. She graduated from Millbrook Memorial High School in Millbrook, NY in 1954, and from the University at Albany in 1959 with a B.A. degree. Mrs. Kleinke taught social studies for fifteen years. At the age of 39, she decided to attend law school, and graduated from Syracuse University College of Law in 1978 with a J. D. She was an inspiration and model for other women seeking mid-life career changes. Chris practiced criminal defense law in Washington, DC, and family law in Columbia, MD before moving to Easton in 2005.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, David Joseph Kleinke; a son, John David Kleinke, a daughter Elizabeth Ann"Betsy" Craig, and her husband Russell, of Fort Collins, CO; a granddaughter, Victoria Grace McGrath, also of Fort Collins, CO; a sister, Sandra Fichter, and her husband Daniel, of Ocean City, MD; a nephew, Bache Fichter, a niece, Nicole Nyberg and two grand-nieces.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 29, 2013 from 9:30 - 10:30 am at the Allen Funeral Home, 3270 Franklin Ave., Millbrook, NY 12545.

A funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday, April 29th at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, North Ave., in Millbrook. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Kleinke to Talbot Hospice Foundation, 586 Cynwood Drive, Easton, MD 21601.
