Veronica and Joseph have five children: Sandra (Donald) Meyer of Hyde Park; Joseph "J. Louis" Scivolette, Jr. of Poughkeepsie; Karen (Mark) Johnson of Poughkeepsie; Steven (Catherine) Scivolette of Poughkeepsie and Susan (Michael) McCormack of Pleasant Valley.

She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.

She is pre-deceased by all of her siblings and all of her in-laws except for her sister-in-law Jane Scivolette.

Whether a wife, mother, grandma, great grandma (GiGi), sister, aunt or friend, she will remain in our hearts forever. Although we lost the heart and soul of our family, what she taught us about family and unconditional love will remain with us always. We share the strength she showed us up to the very end.
