Cheryl Timbs Obituary
(Ormsby) Timbs
EAST STROUDSBURG, PA - Cheryl L. (Ormsby) Timbs, 54, of East Stroudsburg died on Friday, August 19, 2011 at the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Philadelphia.
She was the wife of Blake Timbs, to whom she had been married for 13 years.
Born in Poughkeepsie, NY she was the daughter of Roland and Dorothy (Turner) Ormsby of Wappinger Falls, NY.
Cheryl worked as a senior project manager for IBM.
In addition to her husband and parents she is also survived by a son, Taylor Timbs of East Stroudsburg; a brother, Brian Ormsby of Schuyler Falls, NY; three sisters, Karen Rodriques of SC, Sharon Ormsby of MD, Laura Kolvenbach of Monticello, NY; and several nieces and nephews.
The will be a viewing on Monday, August 22 from 2-4 pm and from 7-8:30 pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Cresco. Pastor James Meyer of Pocono Evangelical Free Church in Tannersville will conduct a funeral service on Tuesday, August 23 at 11:00 am at Innovations Church, route 940 in Cresco. Interment will take place on Saturday, August 27 at 12:00 pm at Schuyler Falls Community Cemetery in Schuyler Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Assistance in Healthcare c/o the Cancer Treatment Center of America, 1331 East Wyoming Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19124.

I was shocked to hear of Cheryl's passing. We were friends at Ketcham High and I was in the same grade as Brian. I remember Cheryl as a friendly, vibrant person with the most beautiful long blonde hair ever.

Roland and Dorothy ... We were so sorry to hear of Cheryl's passing. I know we chatted about her condition, but it still hits very hard. We hope your fond and pleasant memories quickly erase the sorrows. Our prayers and best wishes are with you both. Gil & Julie Leach

I am sorry to read about Cheryl's untimely passing. We spent many classes together in high school. She was always very friendly and kind. May you find love and support through family and friends during this difficult time.
