Susan Bishop
Milton - Susan Marie Bishop of Mahoney Road, Milton, NY passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at home. She was 84 years old. Susan was born in Milton, NY on January 16, 1932. She was the daughter of the late James Vincent & Antoinette Sponito Mannese. She married William Lloyd Bishop who predeceased her on December 31, 2008 after celebrating 53 years of marriage. Susan was a lifelong parishioner of St. James Church in Milton.
Susan was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Survivors include her sons William Patrick Bishop, James Vincent Bishop and his wife Monica and John Joseph Bishop and his wife Theresa all of Milton, 6 grandchildren Anthony, Rebecca, Brittany, Matthew, Hunter & Emily and several nieces and nephews.
Susan was predeceased by her brothers Patrick & Joseph Mannese and her sisters Mildred Cassalina, Theresa D'Angelo, Antoinette Cappello & Florence Vertullo.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the DiDonato Funeral Home, 1290 Route 9W, Marlboro.
A mass of Christian burial will be offered on Thursday morning at 10:30am at St.James-St. Mary's Church, 1209 Route 9W, Marlboro.
Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Marlboro.
Memorial donations can be made to St. Charles Borromeo Helping Hands Pantry, 2212 Route 44-55, Gardiner, NY 12515.
