Theresa Ferretti
Fuguay Varina, NC - Theresa Ferretti, 65, passed away peacefully at her home in Fuquay Varina, NC, Saturday August 6, 2016, with her husband and family at her side. Terry, as she was known to her friends, fought a valiant battle with breast cancer for almost seven years. Theresa Mary Paciocco was born on May 15, 1951 in Brooklyn, NY to Henry and Catherine (Falletta) Paciocco. After graduating from Midwood High School, at the top of her class in Commercial Studies, she was employed in Manhattan, NY as an administrative assistant at Deloitte Haskin and Sells, Good House Keeping, Reynolds Aluminum and Breon Labs. Terry married Louis R. Ferretti Jr. of Staten Island, NY on January 15, 1972. They began their lives together living in Beacon, NY, then moved to the Grasmere neighborhood of Staten Island in 1978. In 1982 they moved to LaGrangeville, NY, residing there until 2008. During this time, from 2003-2005, they lived in Singapore, where her husband's work assignment took him. In 2009 they relocated to Fuquay Varina, North Carolina.
Terry was fond of traveling, especially throughout Europe with a special fondness for visiting Paris, London, Sorrento and Florence. She dearly treasured the cruises she and her husband often took together. She enjoyed cooking and decorating for her family and others and loved to dance. She was known as a devoted wife and mother who adored and cherished her children, Louis III and Kimberly Canada. The real love of her life were her four grandchildren, Cameron and Zachary Canada and Alexander and Lily Ferretti. She was an active and deeply respected member of the Sunset Lake Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Louis R. Ferretti, Jr., their son Louis R Ferretti III and his wife Smita of Cary, NC, their daughter Kimberly A. Canada and her husband Lloyd also of Cary, NC, their four grandchildren and her niece, Gina Mellone and family. She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Joseph Paciocco.

Terry, a loving and loyal friend, mother, wife, grandmother, a model to never reach for me, living right came easy for her.
She carried herself with dignity and loyalty, modesty, and goodness. With a good sense of humor, and a great navigater so we hardly ever got lost, we had days of fun, non- stop laughter, and an unusual close bond. She was the persian kitten, and I was the ally cat, but she never let on. Forever in my heart, she will be, and I, now will be lost in my own backyard, literally. Lolly

I have only lnown this lovely lady for a short period of time, but in those few encounters I was blessed to know her and had the privilege of dancing with her. She will be missed by many and know that she will always remain in our hearts. God Bless you Terri and maybe one day in the future we can relive that dance once again. RIP my dear.
