Chris Zazzaro
WAPPINGERS FALLS - Natale J. "Chris" Zazzaro, 69, passed away on December 20, 2016. "To know him was to love him."
Born in Brooklyn on September 9, 1947, he was the son of Tony and Millie Zazzaro. He graduated in 1964 from Deer Park High School in Long Island, attended Suffolk Community College, and served in the US Army. Chris worked for 10 years servicing and installing sterilizers and autoclaves for hospitals around the country. He then worked as a mechanical technician for NorthThrop Grumman for 5 years, and IBM in East Fishkill for 15 years.
Chris loved his wife, Joan Rattigan, whom he married on May 10, 1986 in New Paltz; and his children, Anthony and Megan Zazzaro. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Veronica; his sister-in-law, Linda; his aunt, Tessy; and many cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday at 10am at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church, 1925 Route 82, LaGrangeville. Please visit Chris' Book of Memories at www.mchoulfuneralhome.com.
