Dorothy E. Fistell
Rhinebeck - Dorothy E. Fistell, 92, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the Baptist Home.
Prior to moving to Rhinebeck, Mrs. Fistell had resided in Denver, Estes Park, and Evergreen, Colorado. She was one of the founders of the United Presbyterian Church of the Hills, Evergreen, CO.; and had worked as a librarian at the Denver Public Library and Colorado Women's College.
She was born December 21, 1924 in Wichita, KS to Albert and Elizabeth (Reid) Dotson.
Mrs. Fistell is survived by two daughters Mary Pat Budd of Clinton Corners, NY, and Janet E. Kennedy of Pacifica, California, John of Evergreen Colorado, and 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son Donald Kennedy, sisters Mildred Goodman, Lucille Greaser, Lena Mae Barton, and a brother Elmer Dotson.
There are no calling hours.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 10 AM, at the Reformed Church of Rhinebeck. Following a brief reception at the church the interment will be at Smithfield Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the United Presbyterian Church of the Hills, 28628 Buffalo Park Rd, Evergreen, CO 80439.
