To Chuck's family---Chuck went to Binghamton Central and I was from JC Hi, so the competition was definitely there. However, I have to admit that Chuck and his team were better than us. I believe, that his individual record of 63 points in one game (Elmira Southside, Feb. 25, 1952) has never been surpassed. Our Red Lakata scored 60, but couldn't top Chuck's record. We are all proud of Chuck and what he was able to do in his lifetime--a first-class person, for sure.
