Antoniak, Anne

Anne Antoniak, a Triple Cities native, ended her life's journey on April 25, 2014. She is now with the Lord; her beloved husband, Michael Sr; parents, John and Pelagia Kaminsky; brothers, Michael, John, William, Frank 1st, and Frank 2nd; sister-in-law, Genevieve 1st; nephew John Jr.; and niece, Deborah. She left behind her children, Michele (Frank) and Michael Jr. (Lynn); grandsons, Sergius and Gavin; sisters-in-law, Mary, Frances, Patricia and Genevieve 2nd (Andrew); and nieces, nephews and cousins. Thorought her life, Anne worked at a variety of jobs. The one she held closest in her heart was her job at UHS-Wilson Memorial Hospital where she worked as a unit secretary. If your path ever crossed Anne's even for a short time, please know that she valued you! Deep gratitude to longtime friends Michael McCarville, O.O. and Carol! Words can never express our thankfulness to the staff at Ideal Sr. Living-Violet Court for their love, care, compassion and friendship! You are very special people! Funeral services will be held Thursday 10 a.m. at the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church, 54 Baxter St., Binghamton, with Rev. Ilya Gotlinsky officiating. Burial will be at the parish cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday 5:30-8 p.m. at the Chopyak-Scheider Funeral Home, 326 Prospect St., Binghamton where a prayer service will be offered at 7 p.m. by Rev. Gotlinsky. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Anne's memory to her church or your local public library.
