Winter Garden - Dawn D. (Hawley) Saeman, 88, of Winter Garden, Florida, formerly of Endwell, New York, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 14, 2019. She left her earthly existence to be joyfully reunited with her beloved husband, Carl, who predeceased her in August 2000. Dawn was born on September 19, 1931 in Binghamton, NY to parents James and Mary (Brinkos) Hawley. She graduated from Binghamton Central High School, where she was captain of the cheerleading squad. In 1951, Dawn married Carl; and, together, they built a wonderful life for their family. Her family was the core of her being. Dawn was an accomplished artist, and won awards and accolades for her paintings from the Fine Arts Society of the Southern Tier. She possessed a very strong Catholic faith and was devoted to the Virgin Mother Mary throughout her life. She enjoyed gathering with family and friends and antiquing. Dawn was predeceased by her husband, Carl, parents, James and Mary Hawley, brothers James and Harold, sister Rosemarie Behanick and brother in law, John Behanick. She is survived by her children Carl (Charlene) Saeman, Mary Beth (Frank) Kollar and Lisa Saeman; and Patricia Geer, who she loved like a daughter. She is also survived by her grandchildren Chelsea (Matthew) Troutman, Lauren (Nicholas) Morris, Katherine (Edwin) Kollar-Valovage and Carolyn Kollar; and great-grandchildren Gabriella Troutman and Jameson Troutman. The family will receive visitors at Woodlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Gotha, FL on Monday, October 21 between 5 and 8 pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church in Orlando, FL on Tuesday, October 22 at 8:30 am, with a graveside service immediately following at Woodlawn Cemetery.
