A longtime member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Endicott where he married Connie in 1960 and served as an usher, handy man, and servant to the community through countless fundraising events at the church. Dom was a member of the Endicott Elks, BPOE 1977 and American Legion Post 1700. He will be missed by his friends Max and Annette Hansen, Pete Kermidas, the Farmer Family (Ryan, Megan, Alaina, and Leah), Nick and Anne Longo and Peggy Corino, who he will "see you for breakfast." The family would like to extend special thanks to Dominic's incredible neighbors Max and Annette Hansen and the Farmer family for all that they did for him while he and Connie were in Endicott and while they were away in North Carolina. They showed the true meaning of neighbor and friend to Dominic. Their kindness, thoughtfulness, and love made a daily difference in his life, especially Alaina and Leah Farmer.

Dom was a Korean War veteran, serving in the United States Navy from 1951-1955 on the USS Vogelgesang. In 1970, he built the Apollo Vending Company. He retired from IBM in 1993.

Dom most enjoyed his time with his grandchildren sharing stories, giving scratch-off lottery tickets, and talking about life. Dom shared many countless unique and often heard sayings and slogans, and he was a constant presence in their lives from the day they were born, and most recently at breakfast with Elianna with a finger buzz to see her smile. He and Connie, also known as "the lady I live with", were always together from going to church, visits to the casino, trips to family weddings, first communions, reunions, time with friends and cups of coffee, a pizza on Friday and cake with friends and his family on Sunday evenings and birthdays. Dom loved helping people out and expected nothing in return no matter who they were or how much time it took, and spending time with his friends talking about the stock market, local happenings, what's going on in the world, and how to fix things. He was always asking if the Yankees were playing and how The Ohio State University, NC State University, and Appalachian State University, the schools of his sons and grandchildren attended, and became a follower of the Columbus Blue Jackets and Carolina Hurricanes. He will be remembered for his family first "sempre famiglia" approach to life, love of a good "lunch meat" sandwich (plain of course), spiedies, a coke, an occasional whiskey sour, a love of lemon pie, playing pinochle and games with his family.

To all his friends and family, keep an eye out for a visit from that Cardinal, and remember to smile and say hello to Dom.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday 11 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 701 West Main Street, Endicott. Entombment will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott,(to livestream https://youtu.be/UgUfD90-7so). The family will receive friends at church Wednesday from 10 am until Mass time at 11 am. To Dominic's family. Our sincere sympathy to all of you for your loss. We were priviledged to meet Dominic through our mutual friend George. What a pleasure it was to have him for a friend. No matter how he was feeling he would call to ask us how we were doing. We would make a few trips to the casino in the car together. We had some interesting conversations. His obituary said it all about what a wonderful guy he was. You were all wonderful care givers to your Mom And Dad. God Bless You. We will miss you Dom. RIP
