M. Beach Obituary

M. Robert Beach
of Binghamton
M. Robert Beach now joins his soul mate of 57 years, Vesta F. Beach. He was also predeceased by his parents, M. Robert and Ethel (Hennessy) Beach. He is survived by his son, Jerauld Beach; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Carole Beach; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Michael Schnurbusch; grandchildren, Martin, Theresa, Ginger, Mark, Michael and Brian; one great-grandson; sister-in-law, Joyce Smith; several nieces and nephews. Bob worked at Baldwin Locomotive Works building tanks during WWII, and was a Singer Links retiree after 28 years. He was also a truck driver, and a dairy and beef farmer. He was a life member, past chief with over 50 years of service as a Chenango Bridge volunteer fireman. Bob was a founding member of St. Catherine's of Siena, Hillcrest, N.Y.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, N.Y., with Rev. Timothy Taugher officiating. Burial will follow in the family plot in Kattelville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, October 16, 2006, at the funeral home. Those wishing kindly consider memorial contributions to the Lourdes Hospice.
