Mildred (Millie) Miller
of Binghamton
Millie Miller, 86, went to be with the Lord, Friday, April 29, 2005, at Lourdes Hospital. She is predeceased by her parents, Irving and Alice Powers; and her husband of 54 years, Glenn E. Miller. Millie is survived by two daughters, June McIntyre, Marcia McLean, San Diego, Calif.; two sons, Gary L. Miller, Troy, N.Y., Wayne Miller, Johnson City; seven grandchildren, Christopher McIntyre, Chelsea, Brianne, Lauren McLean, Jessica, Andrew Miller, Valerie Morrison; and all her beloved friends from Main Street Baptist Church. She was born in Port Dickinson, N.Y. Millie was employed by IBM and later at Singer Link. She retired and volunteered her time at Binghamton General Hospital. She was also a lifelong member of Main St. Baptist Church, where she was involved in the choir, friendship circle and mizpah class.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Ernest H. Parsons Funeral Home, Inc., 71 Main St., Binghamton, N.Y. The Rev. Timothy R. Bennett will officiate. Burial will be at Chenango Valley Cemetery, Hillcrest. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Main St. Baptist Church, 117 Main St., Binghamton, N.Y. 13905.
