I will never forget how Butch defended me in the CVS parking lot when I was being taunted by three teenage boys on bicycles, whom I had just warned about being too reckless. Butch saw them verbally hassling me as he was heading to his car. I don’t think Butch even remembered who I was at the time, as I had then only met him once. He stepped up to my defense and put the fear of God into those boys so that they ran away like their pants were on fire. Ever grateful for that my dear friend. Most would have just walked away.

On behalf of my mom, sisters ( Pat and Denise ), and my brother Jere...I offer up our condolences to Bob's family . This also includes Bob's siblings, whom we got to know as neighbors on Buffalo Rd in Endicott. While time has led to all of us going our own ways, good memories from "way back when" keep people such as Bob, alive in our rememberance of times past.

We can not even begin to understand what you are going through right now. Our offerings of prayers and condolences to Donna , The Patrick’s and all who knew and loved Bobby. He was always so very sweet and kind to our 4 girls (Mary B, Mary A, Mary L and Mary K) teaching them to shoot a basketball and always dancing with them at family weddings . We are grateful we were able to visit with him at The Patrick Reunion a few years back. He indeed was very special.

To Aunt Donna, Jesse and AJ, I'm so sorry for your loss. My prayers and condolences go out to the family and his friends.

Uncle Butch you will be missed by so many. I'm so grateful that I had you as my Uncle and cherished the times I spent with you. You always made those times so much fun and memorable. One of my favorite memories with you is when I was at your home with Aunt Donna and we watched Derek Jeter hit a homerun for his 3000th hit. RIP Uncle Butch.

My dear brother. You were taken too soon but you left a lasting legacy of being full of joy , laughter and love. Jerry and I and our children recall the moments in our lives where you brought such happiness and unconditional love. I was the 4 th in line in our family and Mom was so disappointed when I wasn’t the boy she wanted. But thank God that 13 months later they created you and you certainly showed them you were well worth the wait. I hold you close and will miss you everyday of the remainder of my life.

Being Butch's brother was always an adventure with 6 sisters growing up i think of the thousands of memories my brother and i had Many knew him as butch. I called Bob as a child. The childhood memories ages 5 -17. the climbing of trees, the shoveling of snow, the running in fields and hide and seek in the woods. Countless hours playing catch and hitting a ball or shooting a basketball There was so much my brother taught me and all of us have been impacted by his time here. he will always be in my heart and soul love you Bob

A big personality in a small package. I remember how our parents waited for you after having 4 daughters...You were a blessing. I held your hand as you slept in your crib. And then I laughed at your sense of humor. You became my child's god father and that made me so happy. You are an angel now, brother. Your job now is to watch over the seven siblings you left behind. I love you
