Ruby R. (Judge) (Pitcher) Haus, 85, of Candor, N.Y., and formerly of Willseyville, N.Y., has gone to be with Our Lord and the loved ones that have passed before her. She peacefully passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2007. Ruby was born in Owego, N.Y., on February 25, 1922, the daughter of the late John and Mabel (Abbey) Judge. She was predeceased by her first husband, Albert Pitcher, Sr.; and her husband of 60 years, Donald H. Haus. She was also predeceased by her four brothers, Gorman, Glenn, John, and Gurdon Judge; and her daughter-in-law, Dianne Haus. Ruby is survived by her children, Albert Jr. and Kathy Pitcher, Tenn., Gurdon and Carol Pitcher, S.C., Helen Arlene (Pitcher) (Kurtz) and Ed Balzer, Newark Valley, N.Y., Donna (Haus) (Kurtz) Beers, Lockwood, N.Y., Paul Haus, Newfield, N.Y., Franklin and Rosana Haus, Russell and Margaret Haus, David and Jill Haus, all of Candor; also many grandchildren, great and great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She will be truly missed by all.
A Funeral Service will be held at Richards Funeral Home, Rte. 17c West, Owego, N.Y., on Thursday, March 29, 2007, at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be at a later date in Gibson Corners Cemetery, Owego. Family and friends are invited to call at Richards Funeral Home on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Hospice for their care and concern. God has made Ruby's passing peaceful and painless. May God bless and rest in peace.
