Alexander, Wayland C. "Bud"

Bud passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, surrounded by his family and friends at home. He is survived by his beloved wife Debra Alexander (nee Burge); sons Wayland (Buddy) (Karen), John (Amanda); grandchildren Tara (Elizabeth), Tyler, Jenna and Sarah; brothers Ron (Carol), Jim; sisters Carol, Mary (William); several nieces and nephews. Bud was predeceased by his parents Wayland Paul and Louise (nee Campbell); brothers John (Patricia), Robert, and Glenn (Lynn). Bud will fondly be remembered as Grumpy to family and friends. Bud was an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam Era. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, at 11:00am, at the Barber Memorial Home, Inc., 428 Main St, Johnson City. Burial will be held at Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 4-7:00pm, and Friday from 10:00am until the time of services at the Barber Memorial Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be received to Lourdes Hospice; 4102 Old Vestal Road, Vestal, NY 13850.
