Cowgill, Dolores I.

Dolores I. "Dolly" Cowgill, 84, of Treasure Island, FL passed away peacefully on February 18, 2014 surrounded by her family. She is predeceased by her husband John "Jack" Cowgill; son John "Dutch" Cowgill and devoted friend Josh. She is survived by her daughters Jo Dufton, Charlene "Noni" Davern and her husband Jim; daughter-in-law Dana Cowgill; as well as grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many caring friends, especially Sabina and Ron McKahan. Dolly worked at WT Grant Co. before having her children. She played the organ for 30 years at The Conklin Presbyterian Church where she was an Elder. She was a member of the Eastern Star and a volunteer at Pasadena Fundamental School in St. Petersburg, FL. A special thank you to Lourdes Hospice for their compassion and care for Dolly. Visitation will be held at The Conklin Presbyterian Church on Sunday, February 23, 2014 from 2 until 4pm. A Memorial Service will be held 4pm on Sunday at the Church, Rev. Dr. Barry Downing to officiate. In lieu of flowers please consider memorial contributions in Dolly's memory to The Conklin Presbyterian Church Building Fund PO Box 151 1175 Conklin Road Conklin, NY 13748 or Lourdes Hospice 4102 Vestal Road, Vestal NY 13850.
