Perry, Minnie L.

Castle Creek: 88, died peacefully on Friday, April 18, 2014. She was predeceased by her husband George Perry; brothers Amos Zanker and Eric Lindgren; sister Nellie Fleeger and grandson Robbie Perry. She is survived by her daughters Sandy (Mark Weissenbach) Conklin and Sharon (John) Dibble; sons Leslie (Maggie) Perry and Ron (Adrienne) Perry; brother Fred (Pat) Zanker; sister Florence Winters; grandchildren Kevin Conklin, Nicole (James) Hucke, Brian (Rae) Perry, Caitlyn and Connor Dibble, and Brennan and Cameron Perry; 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Minnie will always be remembered for her love of baking and cooking for others. Company was always welcome and never left hungry. Minnie always enjoyed playing Pitch and later in life became an avid Yankee fan. Horse racing was also a favorite of hers and she enjoyed going to the races with her sister. The family appreciates deeply the loving care and support provided by her sister Florence and niece Linda Slater. At Minnie's request, she has been cremated. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7-9PM at the Barber Memorial Home, Inc., 428 Main St, Johnson City, NY. The family would like to thank the staff of the Vestal Nursing Home for their care and concern during their mother's stay. Donations can be made in Minnie's memory to Lourdes Hospice, 4102 Old Vestal Rd, Vestal, NY 13850.
