Binghamton: Betty M. Goldstein, 90, died Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Menorah Park in Syracuse, New York. She was predeceased by her husband Dr. Solomon N. Goldstein, her sisters Sarah and Pauline, and her brother Ben. She is survived by her sons David, Bruce, and Andrew; her daughters-in-law Lynn Hasher, Marcie Ulaner,and Lisa O'Quinn; 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A native of Syracuse, NY, Betty moved with her husband and children to Binghamton in 1960 where she became very active in the community. A lifelong member of Temple Concord, she was Sisterhood president for many years. She was very active in various civic and interfaith endeavors including the Broome County Interfaith Council. She also helped found the Binghamton Psychiatric Center Auxilliary.

Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 am Sunday at West Lawn Cemetery, Burbank Ave. Johnson City. Rabbi Barbara Goldman-Wartell will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Betty's memory may be made to the Rabbi's Discretionary Fund c/o Temple Concord, 9 Riverside Dr. Binghamton, NY 13905.
