Donnie always made me smile. While he was my brother, I have not seen him in a while. I hope he still made others smile.

Donald Brister

I knew of Donald Felter more than 40 years ago, when he was a sweet young boy who, together with his father, lived with his grandmother, Ida Felter. Mrs. Felter's home was not far from my parents' house in Endicott. I understood that Donald's parents were either divorced or separated.
As far as I know, Donald (Jr.) received a good upbringing in his grandmother's home. I remember hearing (I don't remember how many years ago) that his father and grandmother had died, but I don't remember who died first. I don't know who took care of him later, but I do know that the house was sold to an auto repair business and then torn down sometime after Mrs. Felter's death.
