Martin R. Fallon Obituary
Fallon, Martin R. 57

Binghamton: Our husband, son, stepfather, gramps and brother Marty Fallon passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2013. He was predeceased by his father William A. Fallon and his Godfather Rev. James J. Fallon and is survived by his wife of 29 years, Kathleen, his mother Mary Patricia Fallon, his step-daughter Beth Ann (Richard) O'Brien of Charlotte, N.C., grandchildren Ayden & Grace, two sisters Kathleen (James) Fox of Old Lyme, CT, Suzanne (John) Milligan, of Owego, a brother Patrick Fallon, and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. Marty recently retired after 30 years from the Binghamton-Johnson City Joint Sewage Treatment Plant as a maintenance mechanic where he enjoyed troubleshooting and solving problems. He was a big, smiling Irishman with a warm spirit and everyone he met was a friend. This faithful, generous man was a lover of music and happiest when he made people laugh or fed them. The love from Marty flowed strong and deep, leaving us memories to treasure and keep. In honor of Marty, let us remember the smiling, the laughing, the talking, the sharing, the caring, and the loving. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St Francis of Assisi Church, Hillcrest on Monday at 10:00 AM. Burial will be at Chenango Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the McDevitt & McManus Funeral Home LLC, 88-90 Front St., Binghamton on Sunday from 2-5 PM. Memorial contribution may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans, 7 Mill Brook Rd. Wilton N.H. 03086.
