Harpursville: Norma May (Livingston) Seymour, born Feb. 16, 1928 went home to be with the Lord on Fri. Jan. 10, 2014. She was predeceased and now joins her loving husband, Stanley D. Seymour. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Gayle & Mike Rowe, son & daughter-in-law, Mark & Donna Seymour, daughter & son-in-law, Sandra & Stewart Fox, her grandchildren, Terri (Jim) Wagner, Jerri (Joe) Parisi, Justin (Becky) Seymour, Christopher (Erin) Fox, Jill (Mark) Giera, Melissa Fox & Rick Hewey, 8 great grandchildren, Briannah, Jared, Alysha, Alexis, Ashleigh, Mercedes, Annaleigh & Camryn, her sister, Jane Sawyer, sisters-in-law, Edna Seymour & Anne Livingston as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Fern & Beatrice Livingston, brothers, Raymond & Rance Livingston and sister, Lucille Hurlburt. She was a member of the Harpursville United Methodist Church and also had many friends at the Harpursville Baptist Church. She retired from Harpursville Central School as a Business Secretary. She was a Board Member of the Riverview Cemetery, Assoc. and former Commissioner of Colesville Fire District 1. Norma was an avid reader and Yankee fan. She was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother who was very kind, thoughtful and giving, who served her Lord, family, friends and community.

Funeral Services will be held at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville on Tues. at 11 a.m. Rev. William Fowler & Pastor Sue Crawson-Brizzolara will co-officiate. Burial will be in Nineveh Presbyterian Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home on Mon. from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Harpursville Fire Dept. POB 98 Harpursville, NY 13787 or Colesville Volunteer Ambulance Service (CVAS) POB 62 Harpursville, NY 13787.
