Fiorini, Mary Jane

Mary Jane (Marini) Fiorini, 89, of Binghamton, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her parents Anthony and Amelia Marini; her son in-law Joseph Griffin, and her loving husband of 61 years, Frank Fiorini. She is survived by her children Patricia Griffin of Kirkwood, NY, Barbara (James) Sherman of Cohoes, NY, Bonnie Jones of Binghamton, NY; grandchildren Jason (Tracey) Griffin, Jessica (Dan) Williams, Stephanie (Jay) Russell, Andrea (Chris) Tavares, Phillip Sherman, Matthew (Suzie) Jones; great-grandchildren Madeline, Trystin, Avolyn, Victoria, Brianne, Jason, Ethan, Conor and one on the way; sisters in-law Martha Calistri and Della Fiorini; brother in-law Robert Fiorini; many nieces, nephews, and her cousins from the Sacco family. Mary Jane retired from Roger Kresge, Ken Wilson Chevrolet, Masciarelli Construction Co. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church having served as an Eucharistic Minister and working the Bingo games and soup kitchen. Her family meant everything to her and she was affectionately known as Nona to her great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3 until 6pm at the THOMAS J. SHEA Funeral Home Inc. 137 Robinson St. Binghamton, NY 13904. A Prayer Service will held at 9am on Monday at the Funeral Home and continue with a Funeral Mass at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Binghamton at 9:30am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Mercy House 212 N. McKinley Ave., Endicott, NY 13760 or the Danielle House 160 Riverside Drive. Binghamton, NY 13905. Arrangements are with Albert J. DeMarco.
