Kenneth Alger Obituary
Blountville, TN - Kenneth "Ken" R. Alger, 69 of Blountville TN formerly of Binghamton NY passed away unexpectedly Monday December 28, 2020 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born January 31, 1951 in Binghamton NY the son of the late Edward and Thelma (Ede) Alger. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Marilyn (Crumm) Alger and his sister Linda Marie Leonard.
He is survived by his sons, Kurt, Chuck and Kenny. His loving fiancee Barbara Stark and her family. Brothers Keith (Joy) Alger, Kevin (Jan) Alger and Kelly Alger. His sisters Bonnie Alger and Cindy Alger (Bill). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, his aunts and uncle and many cousins.
Ken drove for various companies over the years. He was an avid NY Giant and NASCAR fan, enjoyed fishing and loved making large meals for family and friends.
Per Ken's wishes no formal service will be held at this time. Due to the Covid outbreak a Celebration of Life will be held in the spring/summer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project P.O. 718516 Topeka KS 66675 or local Animal Shelter

I was deeply saddened, to see that Kenny passed going on three years now. I did not know until today. Kenny and I were very close friends. We lost touch with each other and I did not know he moved away from Binghamton . My condolences to his family especially Kurt he is a good friend of my niece. My condolences also go out to Barbara and family. May you rip dear Kenny I missed you then and I miss you now , you will always be in my heart.
