Chenango Forks - In loving memory of Edward Gage, Sr., 76, who passed away unexpectedly February 17, 2021. He was predeceased by his parents Curtis and Madeline Gage and his brothers Harry Gage and Ronald Gage. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Suzanne Gage, four children; Christine Darling (Robert), Edward Gage, Jr., James Gage, Jennifer White, 7 grandchildren, Jonathan Darling (Amber), Brittany Witt (Austin), Edward Gage, III (Rebekah), Zachary Gage (Katie), Taylor Gage, Kiana Gardinor and Kaeden White, 9 great-grandchildren, Sophia Anthony, Arrow, Carson, Memphis, Mikael, Hunter, Oliver and Carter, his siblings Donna Belcher (William) Stanley Gage (Catherine), Jan Gage Thayer (David), sister-in-law Dolores, and many nieces and nephews. Edward loved his family and enjoyed having family cookouts in the summer. He was a true craftsman and could build or fix anything with his hands. He worked alongside his father Curt at Curt's Collision Auto Repair since 1953 and later took over the business. He loved working on cars. He was a lifetime member of the Chenango Forks Volunteer Fire Dept. He was also an avid pilot and loved flying. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and coaching his kids in soccer. Edward was a kind and loving man and will be greatly missed by his family.
