Curt Shadduck
1940 - 2021
Curtis M. Shadduck, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, passed away in Santa Rosa, California. He was 81 years old.
Curt was born to his parents Clemeth and Margaret Shadduck in Timber Lake, South Dakota. Preceded in death by his parents and siblings Barbara and George and survived by his partner and wife Lorie Moser. He is the father of Michael and David, father-in-law to Kristin and Katie, grandfather to Megan, SeanPatrick, Dylan, Alyssa, and Branden, great-grandfather to Gage and Aelene, cousin to Marsha, uncle, and friend.
He worked for the County of Marin as a maintenance engineer for over 30 years.
Curt was a common man who believed in mutual spiritual respect among all people. He often spoke of the "Creator" from which we all derive life. He believed in the need for, and the power of, the human touch.
He was affectionately known as "Daddy Curt" or "Grandpa Curt" and he will be sorely missed.
A Memorial Service will be held in his honor at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Santa Rosa on July 21, 2021 at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Santa Rosa Humane Society and/or the charity of your choice.
