Kevin Olaeta Obituary
Kevin C. Olaeta, 31, a resident of Petaluma, passed away peacefully but unexpectedly on Saturday, May 18, 2019. Kevin attended Petaluma High and Musicians Institute of Hollywood, where he learned guitar craft. He had a passion for music and was a great supporter of local bands and concerts at the Phoenix Theater. He also loved working on his motorcycles and car. Kevin demonstrated great skill working in his father's electrician business. Clients and friends were drawn to his cheerful, friendly personality. His kindness to all people and animals is a tribute to the beauty of his heart and soul.
Kevin was preceded in death last year by his oldest brother, Eli Olaeta, and is survived by his father, Lonnie Olaeta; his mother, Terri Jensen and step-father Byron of St. George, UT; his brother Ryan Olaeta of Rohnert Park; his sister Melissa Olsen and her husband Jared of Las Vegas; three nephews, Jonah, Lewis and Timmy; and one niece, Lindy. Kevin will be forever in our hearts.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 13 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 745 N. Webster St., Petaluma, CA.

I remember seeing him on Dr. Lee´s show. He was a very nice guy. I was watching Her show this evening 10/4/ 2024 and at the end they had in Memory of Britney Sharp that was on the episode I just watched and when I got to that page I also saw Kevin´s in Memory. And when I saw his picture I was sad. I am sending to you my heartfelt condolences to you, his family. I was a Funeral Director in Maryland for 53 years until I retired in May 2023. I have seen way too much death in my lifetime. From fetuses to the oldest that I ever embalmed a lady who was 107. The doctor put down on her death certificate as the cause of death as "old Age." He told us since we had to go get her certificate that she had no medical problems and he had to put something down as the cause of death and that was it. She just wore out.

Watching P.P. Tonight, not even knowing Kevin, he automatically came off as a sweet person and couldn´t wait for him to become a heartbreaker. Them comes the end of the show seeing "in memory" my heart just broke. You didn´t have to know him to tell his personality was of a kindhearted soul.

I just watched an episode of Dr. Pimple Popper with Kevin, he seemed like such a great person, very kind and fun! Then at the end of the show, it said he passed away! I immediately looked his obituary up! I’m soo sad for all of his family and friends, and for some reason, I am crying for him. I don’t know how he passed, but I hope it he is at peace, and I pray for his family and friends for the strength to keep living with Kevin in their heart.

He was such a sweetheart and I get such a wave of sadness because he was a good, intelligent, talented, caring, and loving young man. He was very handsome with and without his facial lump... Just re-read Kevin's obituary, and realized that his older brother, Eli, died a year earlier. What great sorrow this poor family has had.
Kevin touched me with his gentle soul, though only through a TV screen. I, too, had hoped to see an update one day, showing us a happy, married with a baby, Kevin who'd taken over his dad's business. So sad that this will never happen.

I just watched a rerun of DPP. I had commented to the person watching with me what a happy, good-hearted and fun-loving guy Kevin appeared to be. We were so happy for him.
When the show ended and his memoriam came up we were shocked. Then we were very saddened. I totally cried. I was so sad that Kevin didn't have the chance to be that heartthrob Dr. Lee said he would be. And she was right too. He was a very good looking guy.

We just saw Kevin on the Dr Shiw. We were so happy that she fixed his issue, but when we saw in Memory of, it made us sad. I looked up his passing and it said peacefully from his heart. Our son KEITH, passed on May 12, 2013 suddenly, in his sleep, at the age of 29. From Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. It sounds familiar. We wish you peace, and God Bless Kevin.

I only watched my taped episode of Dr. Pimple Popper tonight and was truly grief-stricken to see Kevin's remembrance at the end. Kevin had the eyes of a dreamer and I felt as though his heart was just as fulfilling. My heart sank when I saw the notice at the end of Kevin's episode.
He struck me as a kind, gentle, sweet man, talented and filled with potential...and whose whole life still laid ahead of him. I didn't know him personally, but would've been happy to.
